"At Golden Age Ranch Horse Rescue, our mission is to provide a safe haven for retired and rescued horses, offering them a second chance at life through compassionate care, rehabilitation, and meaningful community engagement. We are dedicated to educating the public on equine welfare, promoting the use of sustainable practices, and fostering a deep connection between horses and people. Through rehabilitation and a Loving Home, we strive to give every horse the dignity, love, and purpose they deserve while enriching the lives of those who interact with them."

Founded in 2012 by Lyn Shoemaker, Golden Age Ranch has provided a home for life for retired and/or unwanted former racehorses on St Thomas, VI. Her love for Horses was unmatched until her death in 2023. Her memory and vision will live on among the horses in our care.
